Snap’s Revenue & User Growth to be Led by Markets Outside North America & Europe

Snap

Snap Inc. (NYSE: SNAP), the parent company of Snapchat, is projected to experience significant revenue and user growth outside of its more mature markets in North America and Europe. According to Visible Alpha consensus estimates, Snap’s revenues from regions outside these markets are expected to grow by +32% year over year in 2024, reaching $1.1 billion. In comparison, North American revenue is projected to increase by +12% to $3.4 billion, and European revenue by +16% to $903 million.

Similarly, at 242 million users in 2024, the rest of the world (ROW) is expected to continue seeing a larger pool of daily active users (DAU) compared to North America at 101 million and Europe at 98 million DAUs. Overall, Snap’s global DAUs are expected to rise to 442 million in 2024, up from 414 million in 2023.

Although Snap is seeing stronger revenue and user growth outside North America and Europe, these developed markets continue to lead in monetization. This is bolstered by significant user additions to Snapchat+, the social media platform’s premium subscription service. In 2024, analysts expect North America to generate an average revenue of $33.4 per user. In contrast, Europe is projected to generate an average revenue of $9.2 per user, and in ROW, $4.6 per user.
