Insights Usage Analytics <> Salesforce Integration
We are going to embed usage analytics into Salesforce to highlight usage by user. Here’s an example of the type of data Salesforce users will be able to see on the contact record:
We will continue unlocking the power of usage analytics by adding more analytics into Salesforce, including:
- Owner-level dashboard for each account owner (sales/CSM) to quickly view all of their accounts’ overall engagement level
- Account-level dashboard to highlight the usage healthiness and pattern of each account, and users with decreasing/low engagement levels

Increasing coverage in APAC
As we look to increase our footprint in the APAC region from both a client and content perspective, Scott Rosen had a sell-side roadshow in Hong Kong and Tokyo, which showed our commitment to the region and validated the high potential of Visible Alpha. In-person meetings took place with:
- Daiwa
- Ichiyoshi
- Mitsubishi
- Mizuho
- Bank of China
- BNP Paribas
- CLSA
- Guotai Junan
A European sell-side roadshow is being planned for autumn. More to come!
Adding value to the long-only workflow
ClearBridge, a $120bn long-only, low-turnover asset manager signed up for Insights in July. After initial objections, the client found a clear use case for Insights: initiating coverage on new companies and monitoring long-term catalysts (e.g. R&D expenses). Currently there are three paid users and further trials, with a potential to grow the account to 50+ licenses. ClearBridge is a great example of how Insights can add value to long-only clients, expanding our client base beyond the hedge fund community we are currently servicing. Well done, Chris Dixon & Drew Crawley!

Markit ends outsourcing agreement
Markit has decided not to renew its outsourcing agreement with Visible Alpha. This arrangement simplified the process for contributors as Visible Alpha collected and submitted interactions for Markit clients in the required format. Effective December 11, 2019, Visible Alpha will no longer automatically submit interactions data to Markit for non-Interactions Hub clients.

Great Reviews
An Insights user relocated from London to Sweden and joined another fund. He is currently helping us promote the platform and engage with the rest of the investment team. As we are growing our client base, we are seeing more situations like this, whereby former users become Visible Alpha ambassadors within their new employers.
