Corsair eyes rebound in 2025 as PC builder market shows signs of revival

Corsair Gaming (NASDAQ: CRSR), the US-based maker of high-performance PC peripherals and components, is set for a recovery in 2025, with revenue forecast to rise +12% year-on-year to $1.5 billion, according to Visible Alpha consensus estimates. The expected rebound follows a difficult 2024, when sales fell -10%, dragged down by weak demand in its core Gaming Components and Systems division.

The segment, which includes memory products, and other parts for custom-built PCs, makes up 64% of Corsair’s top line and suffered as pandemic-era enthusiasm for DIY gaming rigs waned. Delays in graphics card (GPU) releases, a key driver of PC upgrades, also weighed on sales.

Analysts anticipate a turnaround in 2025, supported by new GPU launches early in the year, including Nvidia’s, following CES 2025. Sales in the Components and Systems segment are projected to grow +11% to $937 million, while Corsair’s Peripherals division, covering gaming keyboards, mice, and streaming gear, is expected to maintain double-digit growth, up +14% year-on-year.

Corsair is also forecast to narrow its net loss to $14 million in 2025, from $83 million in last year, before returning to profitability in 2026 with projected net income of $23 million.
