MaxLinear’s Revenues Expected to Stay Below 2022 Peak

MaxLinear

U.S. chipmaker MaxLinear (NASDAQ: MXL) faced a significant downturn in 2023. Based on Visible Alpha consensus estimates, the company is projected to experience a further decrease in revenue of -37% in 2024 compared to the previous year, amounting to $439 million. This contrasts sharply with the peak revenue of $1.1 billion in 2022.

As demand steadily begins to recover, however, analysts anticipate that the decline in revenue for MaxLinear’s key segments will ease in the upcoming quarters. A more robust rebound in revenue growth is forecasted for 2025, with a projected increase of +39% year over year. Despite this, revenues are expected to remain significantly below the levels seen in 2022.
