Nasdaq And Visible Alpha Partner To Provide Companies With Deeper Insight Into Analysts’ Expectations Of Their Performance

Corporate clients will have the potential to access new, ground-breaking analyst data and analytics to improve communications with investors

NEW YORK, August 19, 2015 – The Corporate Solutions business of Nasdaq (Nasdaq:NDAQ) and Visible Alpha announced today an exclusive agreement to provide detailed analyst forecast data and models on the Nasdaq IR Insight platform. Through this partnership, select corporate executives and investor relations officers will gain the capability to compare and contrast the financial and operating assumptions of the sell-side analysts that drive market expectations of their companies.
“We are excited about the opportunities and insights this new collaboration with Visible Alpha will bring to our clients,” said Brian Reynolds, vice president, corporate solutions, Nasdaq. “By providing more granular estimate details from the leading brokerage firms, our clients will have unique visibility into how their company is viewed by the analyst community, well beyond the measures available today.”
Visible Alpha works with the world’s leading investment banks and research providers to deliver individual analyst and consensus forecasts across all aspects of corporate performance, including full P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statements as well as segment financial forecasts, product-level sales and pricing projections, and company and industry-specific operational metrics and assumptions.
“Transparent markets require clear communications,” said Scott Rosen, CEO, Visible Alpha. “Through our partnership with Nasdaq, we hope to foster a deeper and more informed dialog between corporate management, sell-side analysts and the investment community as they address forward-looking issues of company performance.”
The initial exploratory phase of the collaboration, beginning with a limited beta release, is a major milestone in the ongoing development of the next-generation Nasdaq IR Insight platform.
“We are committed to game-changing innovation through collaborating with partners like Visible Alpha to bring even greater benefit to our clients through our Nasdaq IR Insight platform,” said Nicholas Pastoressa, head of corporate solutions products and platforms, Nasdaq. “By leveraging incredible data sources and emerging technologies, we are building dynamic new analytics to help IRO clients generate the unique insights they are looking for.”
